The creators and queer activists Xácia Ceive and Carmen Granxeiro lose themselves in their fictional characters, Alex and Munchie. In this meta-documentary that explores what it means to artistically represent trans, queer, and lesbian lives we discover a sex worker and aspiring film director, as the lives of Xácia, Carmen, Alex, and Munchie blend. In their transformation from directors to characters, Xácia and Carmen embody their processes of transition and performativity between unstable identities. Entering into the drama of these lives allows them to tap into the power of community to try and perform the hidden complexities of queer life.
