When Inara migrates from Brazil she finds herself a foreigner in her own homeland and searches for her fragmented identity. She discovers family memories and the collective history. As in the Japanese art of repairing ceramics with gold, she glues together pieces of a saga marked by diasporas between opposite sides of the world: Brazil and Japan.
