Rewinding back to the not-so-distant time of the Covid-19 pandemic, this film encapsulates many of the issues that single, working parents had to face: arranging a relative’s socially-distant funeral, managing a child’s education online, expecting the foreclosure of one’s business, fearing unemployment, dealing with money issues… relatable challenges which this story navigates with the grace and the lightheartedness of a playful child.
