Juan Carlos Estavíllo Sáenz, popularly known as "El Kala", is a 57-year-old man who has led a very hard life marked by drugs. He is a survivor, coming from a humble family made up of 9 siblings, and lives in an apartment of barely 50 square meters, where he shares space with the four living siblings he has left and an Algerian friend whom he has taken to his house to get him off the street.
