We are in the mid-nineties. Much of the western football world has to learn a new word: Qatar. There, in the middle of a mythological desert, a handful of boys from different countries and origins are going to play a Youth World Cup. They will win and lose many things: childhood, the cup, sadness and glory. After Qatar, their lives won’t be the same. This documentary is the testimony of a human and sports tale experienced as a youth initiation thriller. This is the story of Qatar 95.
