Advocacy Club is the first feature film ever by a deaf-bind filmmaker. This amazing step forward in film representation, follows three deaf-blind women as well as the openly gay deaf-blind filmmaker Michael McNeely. The film looks at how the foursome advocate for equal opportunity while finding community and strength via the advocacy club of the Canadian Helen Keller Centre. This documentary is to be screened with open captions, sensory breaks and Audio-Description.
