From an automatic spellcheck, to omnipresent domotica: what is looming for us when computers are no longer merely complementing our actions, but taking over the steering wheel? Will the machines treat us as stupid and inferior, the way we have treated people with an intellectual disability for millennia? Simon, Scott and Sarah, a trio of neurodiverse activists, trigger the debate in the presence of a group of peers. They all attempt to take the lead in the discussion.

The film is an adaptation of the theatre play The Shadow Whose Prey the Hunter Becomes. Not only does this version contain more locations and situations, the use of subtitles here is also very intelligent, yet deceptively simple. The performers are also the co-authors of the text – 95% of the people on screen are people with disabilities and the majority of the crew roles are fulfilled by interns who identify as people with disabilities, supported by professional mentors. Quite a confrontation.
