In the highlands of Asia, a boy lives with his sick grandmother, instead of his father who had left to work in a mine. One day, he leaves the house with a gun to revenge on a wolf that killed a lamb. However, the boy falls, gets lost in the blizzard and faints. After a while, the wolf reappears, and drags him somewhere.
