Carlo is nine years old, lives in Taranto and is seriously ill. He is very passionate about Jesus, his favorite superhero. Ugo has been placed on redundancy pay by the large steel mill where he works. Atheist, and communist, and with economic problems, he decides to take part in a mysterious casting.
