Silk Paper and Bruises is a stop motion dance film following a girl struggling with expectations and norms in the dance industry.

The film was made to evoke conversation about how womxn＇s bodies are represented in the dance industry, which still, often rely on traditional stereotypes.

I was banned from going outside and dedicated the time to make the film in my bedroom with Barbie Dolls as my company.
