In 2014, Geovane, a young man living in a slum somewhere in Brazil, was arrested by the military police and never seen again. Since then, his father has taken on a relentless investigation as to find out the truth about his fate. A documentary that dives deep into the countless unsolved cases of police violence, in which victims are mainly underprivileged young men of color from the suburbs of the big cities. A reflection upon the historical and social roots of police brutality, as well as a thundering cry for justice.
