In the 1970s the Greenlandic rock band Sumé released three albums that changed Greenland＇s history. They influenced an era, boosted the Greenlanders＇ self-esteem and motivated the political process of rising up against the Danish colonial powers and establishing Greenland＇s Home Rule Government.
