Johanna Christine Gehlen (born 11 May 1970 in Hamburg) is a German actress. She is the daughter of actor and director Elmar Gehlen.
After high school she studied from 1989 to 1993 at the University of Music and Drama. She completed her studies with honors. Her first theatrical engagements she had in Munster (1993-1995) and Essen (1995-1996). She starred in classics such as Georg Büchner＇s Danton＇s death, William Shakespeare＇s As You Like It, Gotthold Ephraim Lessing＇s Nathan the Wise, Johann Wolfgang von Goethe＇s Faust II, Bertolt Brecht＇s Saint Joan of the Stockyards, and Tennessee Williams＇ A Streetcar Named Desire.
At the same time they played since 1992 in many television productions.
Since September 2009 she is married to actor Sebastian Bezzel and lives in Hamburg, Ottershaw. The couple has one child.
