维达·斯柯克简介

Vida Skerk is an award-winning director based between London and Zagreb. Her short film Night Ride (Nocna voznja) was featured at the BFI Flare Film Festival in London and the Premiers Plans Film Festival in Angers, where it won the Student Jury Award. The film also received the prestigious Oktavijan Award from the Croatian Film Critics＇ Association. Her films blend eerie surrealism with emotional depth, often exploring themes of identity, belonging, and romance. Born and raised in Trieste, she is Slovenian, Croatian, and Italian. This identity brings a unique perspective to her work, placing her at the crossroads of multiple worlds, both as an insider and an outsider in each. She is currently (2025) pursuing a Master＇s degree in Directing Fiction at the UK＇s National Film and Television School.
