He was probably too soft and worried to fit into the ‘tougher’ environments.

Mikkel has always seeked places where he could find peace and quiet, as he worries a bit too much in his close relations and his projects often start with this feeling in mind.

As a director he is fascinated by films that can tell a story in a simple and precise way. Films that can get lost in detail without losing the narrative.
