Louise Ernandez was born in Toulouse in 1988. A graduate of the École des Arts Décoratifs in Paris and Le Fresnoy - Studio national des arts contemporains, her films explore the dynamics between order and disorder, mixing documentary and fiction to probe the impact of technology on identity. Her work seeks to capture the strangeness and poetry of transitions, creating narratives that resonate with contemporary issues of globalisation and isolation. Her newest film, YOUTH IS AN ISLAND (2024), has been selected for FID Marseille.
