Lima Duarte was born on March 29, 1930 in Sacramento, Minas Gerais, Brazil as Ariclenes Venâncio Martins. He is an actor and director, known for Roque Santeiro (1985), Capital Sin (1975) and Sargento Getúlio (1983).
Doubled the voice of Top-Cat ("Manda-Chuva" in Portuguese), Wally Gator and Dum-Dum (Touche Turtle friend).
Father of Monica Martins (a lawyer), Pedro Martins and Júlia Martins and stepfather of Débora Duarte and grandfather of Paloma Duarte.
Pioneer of Brazilian TV, appeared in the first shows of TV Tupi, in 1950.
In "Os Sete Gatinhos" (1980), he played Regina Casé＇s father. In "Eu Tu Eles" (2000), twenty years later, he played her husband.
