Anton Yarush (Yekaterinburg, Russia. 1985) has co-written the screenplays of Tesnota / Closeness (Kantemir Balagov, 2017), which had its premiere in Un Certain Regard at Cannes, where it won the FIPRESCI Prize, also receiving a special mention from Zabaltegi-Tabakalera in San Sebastián; Razjimaya Kulaki / Unclenching the Fists (Kira Kovalenko, Zabaltegi-Tabakalera, 2021), winner of the Grand Prix in Un Certain Regard; Ryadom (Stand by Me, Tamara Dondurey, 2021), premiered in Rotterdam, and At Close Distance (Grigory Dobrygin, 2021).
